Beyonce joined forces with Jay-Z and Future for DJ Khaled’s latest song Top Off and as her rap verse gave us life many fans were left convinced she dropped some subtle messages about Kim Kardashian, Drake, and Tiffany Haddish. Just when you thought you’d seen enough of DJ Khaled for one lifetime, the super-producer has returned with yet another superstar collaboration. Linking up with Future is one thing, but to be able to bring Jay-Z and Beyoncé on board for your latest single truly illustrates Khaled’s sensational pulling power at present. Beyoncé sent a shot at Drake and Tiffany Haddish. Jesus. — Jon Snow (@TrillestAC) March 2, 2018 New track Top Off landed this morning (2 March), with Jay initially taking the lead as he calls for Meek Mill’s release – but that’s before we get to Beyoncé’s show-stopping verse. Queen B dashes off lyrics about ‘breaking the internet’ and how she’s ‘a triple threat’, flitting between powerful vocals and punchy raps as she steals the show and becomes one of our favourite rappers. In most cases, we feel some references are homages to her friends as opposed to ‘shade’ but the internet is convinced. Drake Bey took a friendly dig at Drake (Picture: Marquee) Fans feel very sure Queen B made good use of her opening lines to throw shade at Drake – but we must point out that the God’s Plan rapper would be President of the BeyHive if he had a spare moment. Beyoncé raps: ‘I break the internet, top two and I ain’t number two.’ She could be addressing Drake who bragged on his song Gyalchester: ‘I know I said top five, but I’m top two, And I’m not two and I got one.’ Looks like Bey modestly removed Drake from the Top One spot himself. Did y’all hear Beyoncé throw a few lines at Drake 👀👀 — Kenyadda (@Kennj4sho) March 2, 2018 Beyoncé used a Drake bar in her verse 😂 — raps jackie chan (@bubzlightyear) March 2, 2018 Kim Kardashian Kim was in the firing line too (Picture: E!) Bey doesn’t actually say Kim’s name but she didn’t have to. Take in consideration that Bey uttered the words ‘break the internet,’ a term made extra famous when the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star did just that by posing nude for the cover of Paper Magazine. Heck, the title of that edition was ‘Break The Internet.’ In the words of Mo’Nique ‘say their names or keep it in the playground’, we just wished Bey gave us more to work with her. Sorry, Beyhive – don’t shoot us – but it would have been lovely if Bey just named Kim so we could all move on with our lives. Fans had a hoot when they heard the apparent, but blatant, dig. beyoncé:”I BREAK THE INTERNET TOP TWO AND I AINT NUMBER TWO MY BATTY, MY ICE, MY CASH ALL REAL” #TopOff kim k:- pic.twitter.com/WwFTysfRKJ — ♆ (@jordansparrow_) March 2, 2018 Beyoncé said “I break the internet, top 2 & I ain’t number 2” 🔥🔥😂😂 Kim K after hearing that: pic.twitter.com/ikQggeq3E9 — Elroy Bartholomew (@lurkinSINCE86) March 2, 2018 did Beyonce just throw a little shade at kim & kanye? 👀#TopOff — Victoria. (@Tsunami_23s) March 2, 2018 Tifanny Haddish Tiff was in the firing line for gossiping about Bey and Jay (Picture: AP) The Girls Trip actor is nearly everyone’s favourite breakout star and her willingness to share a story or two about her celeb friends has been music to our ears. But we were all very surprised when the star let slip some juicy details about Beyonce and Jay-Z after a night out with them because, well, nobody seems to ever do that. But hey, that was Tiff’s choice and we enjoyed the tea but it seems Beyonce filed a warning to Tiff – and everyone else- about what would be required if you ever want to get close to her. Beyoncé Top Off verse cautions that ‘if they’re tryna party with the queen, they gon’ have to sign a nondisclosure.’ It could be that the Drunk In Love singer was being very general but Tiff seemed to have posted a humbling response on Twitter earlier today. Tiff wrote: ‘I Love Beyonce part! Everything she said rang so real to me. Just know I will sign an NDA any day For Beyoncé.’ I Love Beyonce part! Everything she said rang so real to me. Just know I will sign A NDA any day For Beyoncé. DJ Khaled – Top Off (Ft. JAY Z, Future & Beyonce) https://t.co/9Ing2kNq14 via @YouTube — Tiffany Haddish (@TiffanyHaddish) March 2, 2018 The track is serving as the lead single for Khaled’s next studio album, titled Father Of Asahd – named after and, rather incredibly, executively-produced by his infant son. Got a story?
