Facebook names Daphne the most influencial in French Africa.

The “Focus On Africa By Facebook” is an event that was organized on January 21 which gave the occasion for Facebook to reveal the names of famous artists who are considered to be the biggest influencers in French speaking Africa on the app.

On January 21, 2020 “Focus On Africa By Facebook”took place. This is an event organized in France by facebook. It has a focus on the development of social network in Africa, influencers and the most used hashtags in French-speaking Africa.

Many personalities of various nationalities took part in this event. This was particularly the case of image coach Scheena Donia, singer Mokobe, Beninese influencer Gaëlle Prudencio, Franco-Congolese singer Djany, chef Moulaye Fanny and Cameroonian singer Salatiel.

The main thing not to forget from “Focus On Africa by Facebook” is that the social network has given its list of the most popular influencers in French-speaking Africa. Four Ivorians and a Cameroonian are part of the shortlist which constitutes the top 5 on Instagram: La Petite Zota in fifth place (1.7 million), Ariel Sheney and Emma Lohoues in fourth (1.7 million) and third position, Daphne Njie , in second place (1.7 million) which makes it the most popular among women, and finally Feu Ange Didier Houon aka DJ Arafat in the first position (1.8 million).

Already the most followed Cameroonian artist on social media, Daphne proves the extent of her awareness there.

Note that in terms of the most used hashtags in French-speaking Africa, Cameroon occupies first place with #Kongossa ahead of #Ketebu from Senegal, #Kpakpatoya from Côte d’Ivoire and #Tokoss from Congo.
