After the defeat of the Cameroon national team on Friday night at the Japoma Stadium in Douala, Samuel Eto’o travelled to Bordeaux in France.
The president of FECAFOOT and former football star was one of the guests of honour at the “National Days of the Diasporas and Africa”.
In the middle of his speech, he said.
“I don’t want to have a Kylian Mbappé who was born in Bordeaux in our national team but to make Kylian Mbappé’s’ out of those born in our quarters in Cameroon, Because there are talents in our territory to be valorise or developed”
Note that the “National Days of Diasporas and Africa” are a series of meetings organised by the city councilor of Bordeaux and the Cameroonian Pierre de Gaetan Njikam.
The aim of this event is to remind people that the issues that affect the world are African and that African issues affect the world.
