Indomitable Lions of Cameroon hand over 50million to the victims of the Olembe stampede

On January 24, 2021, at least seven supporters lost their lives at the gates of the Olembe stadium in yaounde while trying to watch the Cameroon-Comoros match, counting for the quarter-finals of the AFCON 2021.

Six months later, the indomitable lions of Cameroon who had promised financial assistance to victims of the stampede have finally fulfilled their promises

On Friday, June 10, 2022, the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon handed over a cheque of 50 million FCFA to the victims of the Olembe Stadium stampede.

This act carried by the indomitable of Cameroon follows that of the head of state H.E.Paul Biya who had instructed that the sum of 84,700,000 be shared to the victims some months ago.
