Mayor Chah Terence Bam of Njinikom in the North West region has lost his life.
This occurred on Wednesday 13th February 2020 following a “long and painful illness”.
He was considered as a very kind man whose actions and desires were focused on the development of his community.
It is worth noting that Chah Terence Bam has always been the first citizen of the Njinikom community since its creation.
This dispersal comes a few days after the municipal elections, which saw very low participation in the two English-speaking regions of Cameroon, due to the insecurity that has prevailed there since the start of the secessionist crisis. Several candidates for this ballot had to give up their participation following threats of death and destruction of their properties.
For the official results of this poll are not yet known. But it must be remembered that the CPDM, the ruling party, went it alone in the first trends
