Albert Dominique Ebossé Bodjongo Dika, a Cameroonian footballer killed in Algeria in 2014

He was called Albert Dominique Ebossé Bodjongo Dika. He was a Cameroonian footballer, who played in Cameroon, Malaysia and Algeria.

He played for the jeunesse sportive de Kabylie (An Algerian club) and was the top scorer of the Algerian Championship in 2014 with 17 goals.

On August 23rd 2014, Bodjongo was allegedly struck on the head with a projectile, thrown by an unknown person while the teams were leaving the field at the end of a home game in Algeria between JSK and USM Alger. The match had ended in a 2–1 defeat, with Bodjongo scoring the sole JSK goal

After death examination and investigation, released on 18 December 2014, showed that, Bodjongo may have died from a severe beating in the dressing room and not from a projectile, which was the initial claim.

Note that, Toko Ekambi who plays for the French football club Lyon was reportedly attacked violently by some Algerian Lyon players in the dressing room and Algerian fans. So Algerians bitterness towards Cameroonians should not be taken lightly by FIFA.
